The awards, organised by Scotland’s Towns Partnership (STP), celebrate the drive, commitment and pioneering spirit of local people and organisations who are helping to build stronger communities throughout Scotland.
This recognition for GALE in the Enterprising Communities category is a testament to our continued commitment to supporting the local economy, nurturing community spirit, and making Gairloch and Loch Ewe a better place to live, work, thrive and visit.
Scotland Loves Local Awards
The Scotland Loves Local campaign is a national initiative designed to encourage all those who live in Scotland to think local first and support their local town centres. The awards, arranged by STP, aim to showcase the breadth and depth of talent, creativity and resilience across Scotland’s towns and communities. The awards are supported by Business Stream, Creative Scotland, Green Action Trust, Message Matters, Miconex and Sustrans Scotland.

The achievements of all of those shortlisted and the winners will be celebrated at a ceremony to be held at The V&A Dundee on Tuesday November 28th, hosted by popular STV presenter Sean Batty.
Third Award Shortlisting in 2023
GALE’s dedication to fostering a vibrant, sustainable and inclusive community has not gone unnoticed, with the organisation’s efforts being recognised at a national level. The Enterprising Communities category, in particular, highlights those groups who have shown innovation and enterprise in adapting to or overcoming challenges in their local areas.
