Donna Miller is a dedicated and passionate individual serving as the Volunteer Programme Coordinator at GALE. With a strong background in customer service and healthcare, Donna has found her calling in managing all aspects of volunteering within GALE. Her responsibilities include assessing volunteering needs, recruiting and inducting volunteers, coordinating various activities and events, and establishing a robust and comprehensive volunteering programme.
Working closely with partners such as Highland Hospice, National Trust of Scotland, Listen Well Scotland, NHS, and more, Donna actively collaborates to ensure the success of GALE’s initiatives. She plays a pivotal role in coordinating GALE’s Helping Hand’s Befriending service, Listening Service, Supported Volunteering, and the GAP Litter Busters.
Donna’s commitment to her local community is resolute, and she finds great fulfilment in working with people and making a positive impact. She strongly believes in the values of fairness, equality, and inclusion, which drive her dedication to creating a more inclusive society.
Having lived in the area for several years, Donna has truly found her home. She cherishes the wide open spaces and can often be spotted enjoying the beautiful beaches alongside her energetic dogs. In her free time, Donna indulges her creative side through crafting and baking, finding joy in making things with her own hands.
With her extensive experience and genuine passion for community engagement, Donna is excited to expand her impact and continue making a difference in the lives of those around her.
