Overview
The Highland Council is looking for views from Highland residents, businesses and visitors to feed into the Council’s Sustainable Tourism Strategy. The purpose of the strategy is to set out and better coordinate the wide role in which The Highland Council plays in supporting a sustainable and thriving tourism industry. It will set out the Council’s vision and priorities for tourism in Highland, and how the Council will help to achieve these and best support the industry with the many opportunities and challenges it faces. The strategy will also provide the basis for decision making on how available resources are best utilised.
The Council is specifically seeking feedback on four key areas:
- The strategic context
- Our vision and priorities for the region
- The Council’s role in tourism
- Delivering the strategy
