We have a seashore themed day at The GALE Centre on Tuesday 14 October.
After a family friendly morning of fun on Gairloch beach learning about the seashore and the creatures that inhabit it we will have an afternoon of activities at The GALE Centre.
To start off the afternoon Jess from Dry Island Shellfish will be tempting us all with a seafood cookery demo and tasting from 1pm.
There will also be some seashore themed craft and produce stalls including Bruce Blaxter’s Sea Charms jewellery (see photo below), shell earrings hand made in Gairloch by She Sells Sea Shells and various sea salt and seaweed foodie products.
Coffee, cake and home baking will be served as usual throughout the day from our community café but there will also be some sea themed lunches available too.
