This annual event is organised by GALE and a team of energetic volunteers with the aim of encouraging local craft, culinary, horticultural and artistic endeavours.
Recognition at the Show is a popular way of showcasing these skills and encouraging more people to join local groups and produce their own food and crafts.
Each year over 400 entries are received with around 500 people coming to the show to view the exhibits. It has now become a great social gathering for the local community as well as a tourist attraction.
At the end of the show each year all the exhibits are put on sale which gives local people a great opportunity to buy fresh local produce and baking of exceptional quality.
