During the first Covid lockdown in 2020, we distributed sanitiser around the area via ten refill stations that were located throughout our operating area and dispensers to help keep our community Covid free.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Scottish Government for the grant that supported our project during the early days of the pandemic. With this funding, we were able to distribute sanitiser throughout our community via refill stations and dispensers, helping to keep everyone safe and prevent the spread of Covid-19. We are immensely thankful for their support.
Throughout the initial lockdown in 2020, we successfully distributed (x) litres of sanitiser, incurring a cost of (x). However, the funding from this grant concluded at the end of September 2020.
In order to ensure the continued distribution of sanitiser within our community during the winter months, we set up a donation page to collect funds. We are grateful to those who contributed further funding, enabling us to keep the 25 dispensers outside community buildings and public toilets stocked with sanitiser.
The project came to a natural conclusion as the pandemic progressed and the availability of sanitiser became widespread.
