Our volunteer team have continued to work in partnership with Highland Hospice to provide befriending services for those in our community who are feeling lonely, isolated and would like a bit of company.
Now more than ever is the time to connect and reach out to those most in need and we have been able to introduce a telephone befriending service in response to changing local needs. Our GP’s, social worker, Gateway, Mental Health team and Macmillan nursing in our area are fully informed will all the details for referral to this service. You can also self refer to our service.
