Every year we hold a fruit, veg, flower, baking and craft competition – The Gairloch and District Show. The aim of the Show is to encourage craft, baking and growing skills in our community, as we at GALE believe this contributes to our organisation’s aim of building a strong, resilient community.
The 2014 Show proved to be a real celebration of local talent and positive community action, with almost 30 volunteers giving their time to make the day the success it was. Judges travelled from across the Highlands to decide who the winners should be and all commented on the high standard of entries.
