Craftmas Festival
Get ready to embrace the festive spirit with our Craftmas Festival this December! Hosted at the cosy Shieling, this craft-inspired Christmas festival is a perfect way to celebrate the season with creativity, joy, and community. Wreath Making
December 4th, 13:00 - 16:00
Kick off the festival with a delightful wreath-making workshop led by the talented Fiona Mackenzie and Katie Grant. Join us for a stroll to gather natural supplies (weather permitting) and learn to create your own beautiful holiday wreath. This event is perfect for all skill levels and is a wonderful way to bring a touch of nature into your home this Christmas.
Make Your Own Christmas
December 13th, 11:00 - 15:00
Dive into a festive world of creativity at our Christmas Workshop themed afternoon! With a series of tables set up, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to make your own Christmas cards, knit charming decorations, create personalised gift bags, decorate cookies, whip up delectable chocolate truffles, and explore pom-poms and paper crafts. This event is open to all age groups, making it a fantastic family outing to get into the holiday spirit!
Cookie Swap
December 19th, 14:00 - 16:00
Bring your holiday baking skills to the forefront at our Cookie Swap! Bake your favourite Christmas-themed cookies or biscuits, and bring them to the Shieling to share and swap with fellow bakers. It’s a sweet way to try new recipes and meet other cookie enthusiasts in the community. Don’t forget to bring a container to take home your delightful haul!
