Since the opening of the Community Cafe in 2012, GALE has had the pleasure of collaborating with our talented Community, bringing you an incredible selection of goods.
From freshly baked scones to the delightful Hummingbird cake and classic Victoria Sponge, every bite supports our amazing local bakers and their sweet dreams! In early 2024, we embraced the digital age by offering online pre-orders, making it easier than ever to enjoy these delicious treats. November saw the introduction of Christmas Pudding and sourdough bread has become a weekly regular.
Now, we’re thrilled to announce an exciting new addition to our offerings: the Community Bakery Stall! Operating every first Friday of the month, this stall will provide another fantastic way for you to purchase tasty treats made by our local bakers. Initially located in the GALE Centre, the stall will eventually relocate to the Shieling as part of that project.
The stall will be open from 10:00 until sold out or 16:30, whichever comes first. We invite you to drop in and see what’s available.
