SESSIONAL SUPPORT WORKER, Outdoor Learning Programme
7- 21 hours per week; Starting Salary £18,065 pro rata (£9.36 per hour)
We require a Support Worker to assist our Outdoor Learning Facilitator to deliver and further develop our Programme of outdoor activities around the production of local produce. Core duties will include practical gardening activities to maintain our growing plots and supporting small groups of volunteers in practical activities such as crafts, cooking and growing.
The successful candidate will be a practical hands on individual with the ability to carry out some strenuous physical work and who enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities.
The post is initially for a period of 12 months thanks to funding from Aspiring Communities Fund. There may be a possibility of extending the role beyond this date. Our priority is finding the right candidate for the role. We can therefore be flexible around contract type and hours to suit the right candidate – please speak to us about this.
