If you have less than 50 hens, you do not need to register with the government in order sell your eggs at local markets or The GALE Centre. The only requirement is to label the box with your name and address. You can also include optional information about the best before date, whether the eggs are free range, and the breed of the birds.
We have been donated some new egg boxes for use as packaging. These are free to anyone who would like to sell eggs in The GALE Centre. Please call in to collect what you need.
