Our joint event with Scottish Natural Heritage, Go Native, was held on 23 May at The GALE Centre and Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve. Despite the cold and wet weather we had a good turnout and we’d like to thank all those who came along to learn about native plants and help with some of the planting at our raised beds behind The GALE Centre.
It seems that after a very long wait, spring has started to arrive.Our raised beds are starting to look a bit livelier with an array of edible native plants now in leaf and our green manures are starting to sprout up.
We still have some surplus plants available for sale. They are already hardened off and ready to plant and should produce a crop this year. All proceeds from these sales will go straight back in to the project to purchase more seeds and tools.
